unique, creative, witty, artistic, bohemian…these are all words that have been used to describe beth’s addiction jewelry and its’ creator, beth smajstrla. seems there IS something to the term “bohemian.” beth credits her czech ancestry and her numerous antique dealing relatives with introducing her to the love of old things and the importance of the stories of their past, as well as her own.      her mother, also an artist, encouraged beth to take art instruction (including jewelry making) from an early age, leading to a degree in fine art from the university of north texas.     beth continued her education informally while indulging her wanderlust, soaking up the art and cultures of the places she has visited along the way. all of these loves and experiences are apparent in her colorful combinations of vintage charms, lockets, chains, ethnic amulets and semi-precious stones. beth’s addiction is certainly an apt name for her business, and we’re sure you’ll be addicted too!
